Tabby's Coat was once commonly known as Shop Coat, which was worn by engineers over their dirty work clothes when they suddenly had visitors during work or when they went out for a short time.
Basically, it is based on a 50's shop coat, mixed with the 40's Stop Loss pocket that was also used in Tabby's Overall.
The right chest pocket has a plush pocket that prevents tools and cigarettes from falling out even when you bend over.
The material is herringbone denim using Zimbabwean cotton. Since the pitch is narrower than normal herringbone, it has a more elegant impression than normal herringbone often seen in work and military applications.
The thread count is 9X9, 10.8oz. Because it is sulfur-dyed, the color of the fabric will fade every time it is washed.
The silhouette is based on a shop coat worn over work clothes, so it has a slightly loose fit.
